JUNIOR INDOOR

Indoor field hockey is a fast-paced and exciting sport perfect for kids looking to try something new. Played on a smaller field (gymnasium) with a lighter ball, it’s a great way to develop agility, hand-eye coordination and teamwork in a fun and social environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience with outdoor field hockey we offer a chance to learn the skills, make friends and experience the thrill of competition.

  • League games are on SUNDAYS at the MNP Community and Sport Centre.

  • Fees are TBD for the 2024/2025 Season

  • Reversible jersey/uniform, shorts, shorts, running shoes (suitable for a gym floor)

INDOOR PRACTICES

  • Drills, tips, and strategies to elevate your game whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out. Practice are open to all Astros and CLFHA members.

    ***Practices are only available during the Fall/Winter indoor season. We do not offer practices for Spring/Summer Outdoor.

  • Indoor practice registration is done through U of C Active Living. Practices are THURSDAYS 7:30PM - 9:30PM at the U of C Gold Gym.

  • FREE

    There is limited 2-hour free parking on the road by the movie theatre near Hawkings field.

    Payment is now required for the underground lot by Staples. There is apparently a QR code outside of Save-On or Staples (by the elevator) to verify that you have been "shopping" to get free parking.
